3. A given strand of DNA undergoes a mutation because of an error in replication. The given DNA strand (before mutation) has the following sequence: 3' –C-T-T-A-C-A-T-G-C-G-A-T-G-T-C-C-G-G-G-T-A-C-T-G-5' Upon mutation, the G nucleotide that is eight bases from the 3' end is deleted, resulting in the following sequence: 3' –C-T-T-A-C-A-T-G-C-G-A-T-G-T-C-C-G-G-T-A-C-T-G-5' Write out mRNA formed in transcription and the corresponding sequence of amino acids for both the normal and mutated sequence, highlighting the specific change that comes about from this mutation.
