ATP synthesis is an endergonic process. There are two ways in which ATP synthesis occurs in cells: substrate-level phosphorylation and oxidative phosphorylation. Enzymes involved in these processes are pictured below. One of these is pyruvate kinase, which catalyzes the 10th reaction of glycolysis. The other is ATP synthase. Describe how each enzyme works. Especially note how the structure of each enzyme correlates with its function.
