It also includes three presynaptic inputs, two of which will synapse onto the head of dendritic spines and one that synapses onto the neck of a spine. • Glutamate and GABA as a wired neurotransmitter. A neuromodulator as either a wired or volume transmitter. As many volume transmitters as you wish. • Post-synaptic AMPA, NMDA, and GABA-A ionotropic receptors • Post- and Pre-synaptic GABA-B, group 1 metabotropic glutamate
