Step 1
Triplets: A triplet is a sequence of three nucleotides in DNA or RNA that codes for a specific amino acid during protein synthesis. In other words, triplets are the basic units of the genetic code. Show more…

List the codons to which the following anticodons would form base pairs: $\begin{array}{lllll}\text { Anticodon: } & \text { GAC } & \text { UAC } & \text { AAA } & \text { CAA }\end{array}$ Codon:
If mRNA codons are AUG, GGU, and CAG, what three codons of tRNA will attach?
Adi S.
Codons are three-base sequences that specify the addition of a single amino acid. How do eukaryotic codons and prokaryotic codons compare? Prokaryotic codons usually contain different bases than those of eukaryotes. Codons are nearly universal language among all organisms. Prokaryotic codons usually specify different amino acids than those of eukaryotes. The translation of codons is mediated by tRNAs in prokaryotes and eukaryotes, but translation requires intermediate molecules such as tRNAs.
