Using the information below, determine the amino acid sequence of an unknown peptide. Complete hydrolysis by 6 M HCl at 110 °C followed by amino acid analysis indicated the presence of Gly, Ala, Ser, Arg, Met, Pro Treatment of the peptide with phenyl isothiocyanate followed by complete hydrolysis and chromatography indicated the presence of PTH- Gly. Complete digestion of the peptide with Cyanogen bromide followed by chromatography yielded two fragments (Gly, Met, Ser) and (Pro, Ala, Arg) Complete digestion of the peptide with trypsin followed by chromatography yielded two fragments (Gly, Met, Ser, Arg) and (Pro, Ala) No digestion was observed when Carboxypeptidase A was used.
