Two blocks, A and B, are connected by a massless string and slide on a horizontal surface as shown below. Block A has mass 4 kg and block B has mass 6 kg. A force F directed to the right and with magnitude 30 N is applied to block B. The coefficient of kinetic friction between the blocks and the surface supporting them is 0.25 for both blocks. (a) Find the acceleration of both blocks. (b) Find the tension in the string. (c) What should the magnitude of F be for both blocks to move to the right at constant speed?
