The APC/CDC20 complex ubiquitinates Securin 4. Securin is destroyed, and Separase is released 5. Separase destroys cohesin 6. Chromatids separate, and mitosis proceeds to anaphase APC (anaphase promoting complex) ***Normally securin is bound to separase ubiquitin MAD CDC20 Separase Securin APC T/F: A loss of function mutation in an enzyme that is normally needed for microtubule synthesis and depolymerization could contribute to the development of cancer.
