Which of the following is false about the nephron? Secretion does not occur in the nephron loop. Most reabsorption (about 85%) is facultative and can be adjusted. Secretion can include drugs, nitrogenous wastes and H+. Facultative reabsorption occurs in the distal convoluted tubule and collecting ducts. Most secretion and reabsorption is performed by transport proteins.
