Show that after linearization, the transfer function takes the following form: h2(s) = k21k1 q1 (s) (1 + Tis)(1 + Tzs) k21 where k1, k21, Ti and Tz are constant expressions to be determined. Based on the step time response data accompanied with this document, identify the parameters making up this transfer function. Using Matlab, plot and compare the identified transfer function with those from the given data.
Design a PID controller for this plant. Use pole assignment. Present the controller transfer function in standard form as Cpib(s) = Kp(1 + Tis)/(1 + T0s + 1).
Implement the controller in Simulink/Matlab.
