Find and draw the F.B.D. for Problem 1, which involves handling the bar ABC from class ISO 8.8 to class ISO 12.9.
Choose the diameter of the bolts that are required.
Determine the static factor of safety (ns) and fatigue factor (n).
Identify the critical bolt.
Find the reaction loads at the fixed support that the bar will carry, knowing that Fmin = 0.25Fmax.
If the maximum load Fmax = 4i + 16j kN, and the bar is fixed to the wall by four bolts as shown in the figure, determine the fluctuated loads F acting at the end of the arm BC.
A steel bar ABC of diameter D = 40mm is subjected to Fi 0.3m 0.4m.
