Alright, so this question is asking about the difference between qualitative and quantitative data.

Qualitative data is referring to something's characteristics or qualities.

Whereas quantitative data is dealing with quantities, so numbers or quantities.

So really the difference to be able to tell the difference really easily between these two is that quantitative will usually have numbers involved, whereas qualitative will just have qualities in characteristics.

So, for example, if we're looking at this fish on the left here, some qualitative observations would be that it's red, would be that it's small, you could say it's a cute fish, these are all qualitative observations.
