Before we get started, we want to know that there are first two main categories of reproductive isolation.

There's prezygotic and post -sygotic.

And it's pretty much what it sounds like, right? so pre -zygotic isolation occurs before the formation of the zygote can take place.

And then there are a couple types of pre -zigotic isolation, such as, spatial, behavioral, mechanical, and temporal.
