Biography

I am 35 years old. I am married and have 6 children, all boys. I have been a teacher for almost 8 years. I was a substitute teacher for 2 years before becoming a full time teacher. As a substitute, I long term subbed for a math teacher while she was on maternity leave for 3 months. I was also a private math tutor while in college and during my first few years of teaching. I even tutored while in college. I love math and helping kids learn. I have taught or tutored Kids in Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, and AP Calculus. Geometry is my favorite subject. I made videos to help kids learn in the past. Distance learning has helped me become a better teacher and make better videos to help kids learn.

Graph $\triangle \mathrm{FGH}$ with vertices $\mathrm{F}(\square 2,2),$ $\mathrm{G}(\square 2, \square 4),$ and $\mathrm{H}(\square 4, \square 4)$ and its image after the similarity transformation. ( See Example 1.)
Translation: $(\mathrm{x}, \mathrm{y}) \rightarrow(\mathrm{x}+3, \mathrm{y}+1)$
Dilation: $(\mathrm{x}, \mathrm{y}) \rightarrow(2 \mathrm{x}, 2 \mathrm{y})$
