They are currently more like being alive on the bottom of the ocean floor and the hot springs of where like the gusher, the yosite, where it's spouts up and has a geyser flow of hot water that these things actually live in those areas, salt lake's the salt lake city, utah, for example.

So bacteria and archaea are very similar in that they both have very little membrane structure.
