Hydrides such as $\mathrm{NaBH}_{4}$ and $\mathrm{LiAlH}_{4}$ have been reacted with the complexes $\left[\left(\mathrm{C}_{5} \mathrm{Me}_{5}\right) \mathrm{Fe}\left(\mathrm{C}_{6} \mathrm{H}_{6}\right)\right]^{+}$ $\left[\left(\mathrm{C}_{5} \mathrm{H}_{5}\right) \mathrm{Fe}(\mathrm{CO})_{3}\right]^{+},$ and $\left[\left(\mathrm{C}_{5} \mathrm{H}_{5}\right) \mathrm{Fe}(\mathrm{CO})_{2}\left(\mathrm{PPh}_{3}\right)\right]^{+}$ (See P.
